Soft black ball ground Charbonnel

The softer Charbonnel solid ground engraver has a long etching time and allows softer lines, surfaces and textures to be applied to the plate. The solid ground engraver must be applied warm to the plate using a printing roller, a leather dab or a brush. As a soft etching base, it is ideal for the “pencil method”. The matte black and opaque finish helps fine details stand out better.
